Riccardo Patrese was confirmed at the Race Legends that will happen this year in Sweden at the Anderstop circuit. It will be great see him racing again!!! Click here for the news.

Hello all, long time I don´t post here, right? Well, I´m posting here today to tell you all that The Italian Hero is still alive and will return, unfortunately I can´t say when it will return, but be sure my website will come back.

I decided to keep my website offline till be 100% ready because I don´t like to leave online a page that is not 100% functional, hope you understand.

Why the reconstruction is taking so much time? Because I have a work and also a private life to take care of and because of that I almost don´t have free time. The reconstruction is slow, but will be finished, be sure of that =)

Actually I´m working on the photo galleries and I´ll try to post here more to keep you all informed about the progress.

I´m also looking for new pictures, texts, collectible items, race stats (from Formula 1 and other series Patrese raced, specially pre-F1 era). If you would like to contribute, please send me an email: webmaster [at] rpatrese.com All credits will be given to you properly. =)

Career Section Back Online

Finally, after several problems, I was able to work in my website. Today I´m happy to announce that the Career section is finally online again.

I also added another article, never seen on the web before, from a 1987 french magazine, hope you enjoy!

I will continue the work for put all sections online, please keep visiting this space for more news and thanks again for all support and patience.

Back to Business

You all should have noticed that the rebuilding of The Italian Hero Website was stuck till now. I had several technical problems (my computer and scanner “died”). I had to buy a new computer and today I got a new scanner. Fortunately I didn´t loose the website content and will return to work in the next days. I hope to put the whole career section online very soon.

I´m sorry for this proccess takes so much time to be completed, I have a professional and a personal life to attend and also had these technical problems… But don´t worry, The Italian Hero will be back

Career Section Reconstruction: How it is going…

Time to keep you informed about how the Career section reconstruction is going:

Fortunately I have 90% of the section ready to publish (now I only need to make changes in Formula 3 and Grand Prix Masters sections). I could publish the other parts online now, but I prefer finish the work in the remaining sections and put Career back online when all its sections are ready and I hope to have it done till the end of this month (if all goes well).

I started the reconstruction of the website in February and my plans were have it completely done before the site 5th Anniversary, but unfortunately I passed for several problems and because of that I couldn´t work on the website in the way I´m used to…

Everytime I can, I go work on the site and I will finish this reconstruction in the best way possible, be sure of it.

Once more I´d like to thank you all for the patience and understanding. Please keep visiting this space, all news related to the site will be posted here.

The website was offline during the last week because the server hard disk failed. Fortunately my account was restored and the website is back.
